The Upcast process produces high quality Cu rod and tube for various applications. It is a simple and reliable process with easy operation through an advanced control system, with optimized energy consumption.
The process allows different rod sizes to be cast, even simultaneously, and both production output and product mix can easily be adjusted according to the daily demands.
Upcast lines can be customized to match the needs of each specific customer, and are suitable for the casting of many non-ferrous materials. The main applications are pure OF-copper and copper-based alloys.
Upcast Oy was also one of the first companies to present an upcasting line solution using recycled material.
The lines are available for a wide capacity range both in single- and double-furnace configurations. The Upcast customer service team can deliver original spare parts and consumables, as well as answering questions about service or instructions. In addition, Upcast's UPtime maintenance software helps customers to carry out the required maintenance operations.
